Refund Policy
Cancellation, Refund, Transfer Policy
1. All cancellations, refund, and transfer requests must be made in writing via email to info@womeninpayments.org
2. Refunds will be allowed as follows:
* Registrations canceled by 11:59 pm on August 25,2025 (30 days out) will receive a 50% refund.
* No refunds will be given for cancellations received on or after August 26, 2025.
3. Refunds will be issued via your original payment method.
4. Symposium registration fees will not be refunded for weather or travel-related delays or cancellations.
5. Leaving the symposium early, for any reason whatsoever, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused portions of the event. Likewise, refunds will not be granted for no-shows.
6. Transfers: If you wish to transfer your registration to another person at any time, you may do so for a $100.00 CAD administration fee.
7. While every effort is made to ensure delegates can attend all sessions, certain sessions may prove too popular for the room capacity. In these exceptional circumstances, entry will be on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
8. We reserve the right to change the format, speakers, participants, content, timing, date, venue location and programme or any other aspect of the conference at any time and for any reason, whether or not due to a Force Majeure Event, in each case without liability. Where we alter the time or location of the conference, we will provide you with reasonable notice and offer you the choice of either a credit for a future event (up to the value of sums paid by you in respect of the conference) or the opportunity to attend the conference as varied.
9. We are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs and expenses incurred (including wasted costs and expenses) if we are required to cancel or relocate the conference as a result of an event outside our control.
